I often get questions about me on Instagram, so I figured I'd write up a short summary, as I'm terrible at typing out long responses on my phone, and as some of the questions can be a bit too personal for me. I do like to keep some privacy, something I hope you can understand πŸ‘§

As you've probably know by know, I'm an amateur photographer who's trying to learn more about all kinds of photography. Though I sometimes venture into the fields of portrait and macro photography, my main focuses have been landscape photography, long exposure, and night photography.

I'm from, and currently live in, Bergen, Norway, where I work as a freelance editor. My job takes up a lot of my time, but it also gives me the freedom to pick my own work schedule, so that I can go out and take pictures during the night when everyone else is asleep.

Some of my pictures will also feature my best friend, a Belgian Sheepdog who's the joy of my life. Everyone should have a friend like her in their lives.

She goes by many names, but most of the time she'll respond to "Nina". Though I'd love to share more pictures of her with you, she's sadly not the most eager model. But every once in a while I get a decent snap of here to share with you.

I'm also an avid climber and boulderer, so every once in a while I'll share some climbing pictures too. And when I get the chance to travel a bit more, I do have quite a few mountain tops on my bucket list.

My kind of selfie.

The dream would be to make photography my living, giving me the chance to be more creative with my camera and travel a bit more. But for now, photography is something I do for fun, a way of getting some of the creativity out.

Though I still have a lot to learn, I'm always happy to help others out by answering questions about night and northern light photography, travels to Norway, and camera settings and equipment.

I'll write up a post about my camera and lenses, both the ones that I have, and the ones that I'll be getting in the future.

I hope you guys will enjoy following my photography journey. And I highly appreciate construtive feedback on my photos.
